Why this matters
AI can help you explore new ideas, approach unfamiliar questions and see new possibilities in your work. It can also produce answers that need your judgment, context and values to assess. The challenge is to stay curious about what AI could open up without outsourcing the thinking and learning that make your contribution your own.
Rise With AI helps you make more deliberate use of AI's possibilities. You practice briefing AI, comparing possibilities and reviewing what it gives you, and decide where your judgment needs to stay. You also look after the curiosity, adaptability, communication, focus and energy that help you keep learning as work changes.
What you will practice
These are the capabilities the program is designed to build. How far you take them depends on your work and the time you give them.
Keep your own thinking in the lead
Name the judgment and know-how you want to protect, and think a problem through before you ask AI for help.
Brief AI clearly
Frame a task with the context, purpose and constraints a capable colleague would need, using tools your organization allows.
Review quality with care
Question responses, ask for alternatives and map where AI is reliable in your kind of work and where it needs more checking.
Stay curious and adaptable
Treat new tools and changing work as something to learn from, and talk openly with colleagues about what you are finding.
Protect focus and energy
Notice the hidden effort AI use can add, set limits that support recovery, and decide where any saved time should go.
Keep learning actively
Choose a regular practice that keeps your core skills strong without AI, and set a date to review what is working.
The five sessions
- Session 1
Start with your real work
Explore how AI feels to you, name the thinking skills you want to protect and choose one recurring piece of work to focus on.
- Session 2
Think before you ask
Practice a simple routine for thinking before asking AI, compare your reasoning with its output and start mapping where you can rely on it.
- Session 3
Brief AI and challenge its answers
Brief AI as you would a capable colleague, question what comes back, look for real alternatives and take one question to a colleague.
- Session 4
Protect your focus and energy
Look honestly at your AI week, set limits that protect focus and recovery, and choose one practice that keeps your core skills strong.
- Session 5
Build your personal AI playbook
Map one task step by step, decide where your judgment stays, agree any approvals before testing a change and bring it together in your playbook.
Your personal Human-First AI Playbook
Every participant builds their own playbook, whether you join a public cohort, a private cohort from across your organization or an intact team. It is a working document you can revisit as your role and the technology change.
Your playbook brings together
- The signature thinking skills you want to keep strong
- How you brief AI for your recurring work
- Your quality checks and where AI needs more review
- Limits that protect your focus, energy and recovery
- One mapped task, with the points where your judgment stays
- Your next steps and a date to review what is working
Intact teams can also agree optional shared working agreements alongside their personal playbooks.
Is it a good fit?
A good fit if you
- Want to use AI well without losing your own judgment
- Feel unsure, stretched or uneasy about how AI is changing your work
- Already use AI and want steadier, more deliberate habits
- Manage people and want to strengthen your own practice first
Probably not the right fit if you
- Need technical tool training, setup or security approval
- Mainly want to lead and support a team through change. See AI Change Lab for Leaders
- Want to rethink your role and contribution. See Reshape Your Role for the AI Era
Questions about Rise With AI
What if I cannot use AI at work?
You can still take part fully. We provide prepared examples so you can practice briefing and reviewing without approved AI access. Any workplace application should follow your organization's rules.
Is it only for intact teams?
No. You can join a public cohort as an individual, or your organization can arrange a private cohort with people from different teams or an intact team. Everyone builds their own personal playbook.
When is the next cohort, and what does it cost?
Contact us for current cohort dates, delivery details and pricing, or join the interest list and we will let you know when the next public cohort opens.
Will it make me faster or more productive?
It may help you work more deliberately, but we do not promise specific time savings or business results. The aim is stronger judgment, better habits and a playbook you can keep using.
Be first to hear when the next cohort opens.
